Category Archives: My Life
So for about a year now I have been a workout addict. I hit the gym about five days a week and either do cardio or a variety of different fitness classes (my favourite is Group Power). I find that if I miss a day I just feel so off; I’m pretty sure that I have an addiction or something, it’s weird.
Anyways, recently I got a Fusion Power Bandz to help with my fitness. Basically what the band is is a silicone bracelet that is infused with tourmaline, germanium, silicone, and titanium (only the PRO model has the titanium).
Okay, say what? Let me try to break this down for you regular folk. The key ingredient (in my opinion) is the tourmaline which emits negative ions which are healthy for you. The negative ions are medically proven to provide a variety of health benefits including increased blood flow, balanced serotonin (a neurotransmitter that is found in the gastrointestinal tract, platelets, and the central nervous system. It is known as the “happiness hormone”), increased energy and focus, and better sleep, among others. The band is also supposed to relieve all kinds of body pain and increase energy. Click here more information about the technology and benefits.
Alright, so I know what you are thinking, sounds like a gimmick right? Does it actually work? Well, I myself don’t have any pain, so I personally couldn’t tell you if the band relieves pain, however, with that being said, I did let my mom try it out for a week or so and she said it actually does work. My mom tends to get foot cramps at night and after a few days and nights of wearing the band (it is recommended to wear it all the time for it to work properly) she did say that she didn’t experience any cramps at all and she managed to sleep peacefully throughout the night.
As for the other benefits it promotes, I do find my balance to be much better when I am working out. In group power we often have to do tons of dynamic lunges and stretches that require a lot of balance and usually I have to hold on to the wall or I’m wobbling all over the place. With the band I have noticed an increased sense of balance and more sturdiness.
So how is this band different from those other ones out there? I personally couldn’t tell you because this is pretty much the only one I have ever tried. I can say though that it actually works. There are medical studies to back it up as well as a variety of athletes that endorse the product. The thing that is the most special about it is the minerals in the actual product. Everything about it is supposed to help you health-wise. From the silicone to even the hologram sticker, it is made in such a way to help your well-being (and the fact that it comes in cute colours is a plus in my opinion).
So where can you pick one up? Well, they are available in a variety of different colours and two versions (FUSION Dual Hologram Ti and FUSION PRO Ti – the model with the titanium) and are available on their official website.
And now the fun part! I am giving away a Fusion Power Bandz Dual Hologram Ti band in white (valued at $30 CDN) to one lucky reader! The contest is open internationally from now until July 31, 2011! To enter all you got to do is subscribe to my blog! How do you subscribe you ask? Look to the right of this page and where it says “Want Regular Updates? The winner will be chosen by random.org. Good luck!
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Contest is open from July 7 – 31, 2011. Winner will be contacted by August 6, 2011. If the winner does not reply with their particulars by August 10, 2011 another winner will be chosen. Contest is open internationally to both male and females. If a male wins, the colour of the band may vary (due to sizing issues). The winner will be chosen by random.org.
Please note that I have absolutely no affiliation with Fusion Power Bandz. I do not work for the company and paid for my own personal band with my own money. The prize band was given to me for a giveaway from the company but in no way did that affect my opinion on the product. I purchased my band about a month and a half ago so I have sufficiently tested it out and seen it’s benefits.
Hi all! I am getting mighty lazy updating this thing! Well actually it’s not just all laziness, I’m kind of super busy some days too. Anyways, I went to my friend’s pool yesterday and I thought that I could incorporate that somehow into a blog post.
I recently watched a video on YouTube by Promise Phan (dope2111), Michelle Phan’s sister-in-law. If you haven’t checked out their videos, then get on YouTube now (of course after you read this post!). Basically what Promise did was a waterproof tutorial using products that should stay on after some fun pool time! (You can check out the video here). I totally got inspired to create my own look and see how good it would actually hold up, one because I was curious and two, I’m going to Vegas again at the end of August and plan to just bake in the sun all day.
I used a number of products that I thought would stay on after vigorous pool time and that would have an SPF so I wouldn’t burn.
So let’s get to it!
For the face I tried out e.l.f.’s Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20.
My mom recently picked this up at Target and I thought that because it had an SPF in it it would be great. The moisturizer is very sheer, so it doesn’t present a lot of colour, but I mean that’s fine because you are going to be in the water anyways and you don’t want your face to look cakey. And, for you tanners out there, I found I did have to apply sunscreen on my face throughout the day to prevent burning.
For blush, I chose a cream product. Cream tends to stay on better under water than a powder, it’s something to do with the formulation in the product.
I’m not a cream blush user because I find the product hard to work with. I prefer a powder one because I like just taking my blush brush, swiping it on, and then I’m good to go. The only cream blush I seemed to have in my collection is this mini one from Clinique that I’m sure I got in a gift with purchase. It’s the Blushwear Cream Stick in 01 Glow Blush which is more of a bronzy colour, which is perfect for the sun and beach/pool. All you got to do is dab it on your cheeks and then blend to perfection.
Next is eyes, which is my favourite part! Just like the cheeks, a cream eyeshadow is preferred, however, because I don’t have any cream eyeshadows I grabbed my trusty Urban Decay Primer Potion and dabbed that on my lids instead. I then chose Half Baked from my UD Naked palette for my lids.
I chose a gold colour because it’s very summery and perfect for the pool. Looking back now, I totally should have lined my lower lids with a blue colour for that extra pop of colour to the look (MAC’s Surf, Baby! collection has an excellent waterproof blue eye liner). You can of course choose to use any colour for this look, its not just limited to golds. However, with that being said I would definitely use an eyeshadow primer if you are going to use powder eyeshadow. There are a variety of them out there other than Urban Decay’s (Two Faced Shadow Insurance, MAC Paint Pots, Benefit Stay Don’t Stray, etc.)
To finish off the eyes I used a waterproof gel liner. You can choose to use whatever liner you choose whether it’s a pencil, liquid, gel, or shadow, but make sure it is waterproof!
The eyeliner I used was Sephora’s Waterproof Smoky Cream Liner in the colour Must Have, which is just a matte black. I like this product because it’s very creamy and goes on jet black. I personally don’t find a huge difference between gel liner and liquid liner, if I don’t want my liner to smudge then I will go with this one, otherwise I usually stick to my MAC liquid liner.
To finish up the eyes grab your waterproof mascara and coat those lashes! Like I have mentioned before, I have eyelash extensions so I don’t use mascara and they stay curly in the water anyways. I am in the desperate need for a fill though!
For the lips I chose a lipstick with an SPF in it.
I grabbed my Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte in the colour Fetish Pink (# 8). This lipstick has an SPF of 15 in it so it has you covered for the sun (at least for a little bit). I think that the lips are often the most overlooked when it comes to sun protection (for me), so you always want to make sure that you have some sort of lip product that offers a SPF. If if comes in cute colours, then even better!
Alright, so that is all that I applied, here is the finished look.
I thought this look was very bare, it focused on the eyes and lips to create a pop of colour. For my everyday look I use foundation and concealer, so I felt very natural without it. And, I fully expected the lip colour to vanish throughout the day (which it did).
With my face being waterproof and full of SPF, I grabbed my sunscreen and shades and I was on my way!
Alright, so now let’s fast-forward five hours and see how the look held up!
As you can see the lipstick vanished (although not as bad as I thought it would, there was still a hint of colour. The eyeshadow and liner stayed on very well, however, there was some slight smudging under my eyes. The tinted moisturizer wasn’t that pigmented so it wasn’t that noticeable to begin with before and after, and as for the blush it didn’t seem to make it. However, if I used a more full-coverage foundation then the blush/bronzer would have been more noticeable.
Overall, I think the look worked. I believe that Promise mentions a Maybelline foundation in her video to use, so if you want something with more coverage then give that a try. I totally think the eyes worked and would definitely use these products again.
Let me know of any products you know of that hold well under water! Also, keep a look out on my blog in the coming days and weeks, I have some very exciting news coming up!
Hi all! So I had a photoshoot today for photos to accompany an article I wrote for Clippings magazine on hair trends. I had so many photos that I thought I would post some on here so I don’t feel like they were wasted. One of the trends I talk about in the article has been seen on everyone from celebrities to even the runways of some of the hottest brands. Wanna take a “wild” guess? Yup, it’s feathers!
Basically what they are are rooster feathers that you can straighten, curl, and wash. They are attached using a microloop and then fastened on a small section of hair. They are relatively inexpensive and add some flair and a pop of colour to your hair instantly. It’s a neat trend for summer for sure and have been spotted on such celebrities such as Selena Gomez, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Ke$ha among others. In fact, they have been so popular that fishermen have been complaining because people interested in the fad have been buying the feathers that are for fishing. It’s being said that the hair industry has single-handedly wiped out the rooster feather industry and there are some shortages to get your hands on those colourful feathers.
Some salons offer them or you can always order the supplies online and do it yourself. There are a number of online retailers and manufacturers that you can get them from. If you don’t want them attached semi-permanetely, you can also get yourself a pair of temporary clip-in feathers from Sultra ($25 USD, available at Sephora).
They are super fun and definitely my go-to hair trend for summer. And, if you want your furry friend to spot that same trend, Puppy Locks offers fur feathers that you can apply onto Fido (Condition Culture, the company that makes Puppy Locks also make Feather Locks for humans). How cute is that? I’m not sure that Ziggy would like it but it’s still pretty cool regardless. So what do you think? Are you on the feather bandwagon or are you gonna let this one fly by?
So it’s my birthday coming up in a few days so I thought I would paint my nails to reflect the special event! I recently picked up OPI’s Teenage Dream, a pink sparkly polish from their Katy Perry collection, and I thought it would look great over my favourite polish, Spa Ritual’s Knowledge is Power. I was so right. My nails are like a mix between barbie and cupcake nails. Love them!
And as a final side note, I thought I would post this scary photo!
Hi all! So kind of late since it’s almost the middle of May, but I really wanted to blog about my media favourites for April 2011. Basically what I have been into music, movies, books, and television-wise. Oh, and as a side note, do you like the new layout of le blog? I hope you do, I wanted to switch it up a bit.
But anyways, here goes!
Okay so I was into a little mix of everything for April, from the Black Eyed Peas (who I haven’t liked in a while) to Nicki Minaj (whom I can’t stand) to some old favourites like Akon.
- Angel by Akon
- Just Can’t Get Enough by the Black Eyed Peas
- Give me Everything (Tonight) by Pitbull feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer
- Bumpy Ride by Mohambi
- Super Bass by Nicki Minaj
- Judas by Lady Gaga
- Beautiful People (Main Version) by Chris Brown feat. Benny Benassi
- My Love by the Bird and the Bee
I also want to note that I have been really into podcasts lately, especially Above and Beyond’s Trance Around the World, you can download it off iTunes for free and I believe that they put out a new one every week and the best part is that it’s two hours! That may seem like a long time but if you want background noise it’s so perfect.
Okay so I don’t really watch television that often because I don’t really have the time. There are some TV staples that I watch every week like Desperate Housewives but that’s about it. I have really been into Khloe and Lamar and The Dance Scene (only because it’s on after Khloe and Lamar), but I have to say, I have been loving Audrina Patridge’s new show, aptly titled Audrina. Oh my gosh, talk about a guilty pleasure, her family is so whack, but not in a Kardashian way. Her mom is so crazy and her sister seems to freak out pretty easily. And it’s weird how the dad seems to talk a lot about how his daughter is famous (I mean obviously she is, but usually on these reality shows, you don’t hear people talking about how famous they are). I think I prefer this show to The Hills because it seems more real and her family is just so darn entertaining. It’s a VH1 show but I just watch it online at mtv.ca.
Speaking of mtv.ca, I have been loving the new series of 16 and Pregnant. Okay I was totally obsessed with the first season of show and then Teen Mom (with the original cast). I didn’t really watch the second season at all, but oh my, how I have been loving this new season! How juicy was the episode with Jennifer? I couldn’t believe her deadbeat boyfriend just left with the twins in the car and her by the side of the road. This show has seriously become more than just a message of “don’t have sex” for kids, it shows how much of a loser boyfriends can get after they knock up their girlfriends (not that all the baby daddies on the show have been that way, but a good handful of them). Love it!
Sad to admit but I don’t think anything stuck out to me this month. Scream 4 was good, but if you want to hear me talk about it check out my Horror Weekend post. Another movie that comes to mind would be Waiting. I have never seen this movie before but heard a bunch of good things about it. So when I came across it on Netflix randomly I was like “why not, I’m bored anyways…”. This movie is actually so funny, so glad I watched it. I loved the charter of Amy (played by Alanna Ubach, she was so funny how she was so mad one moment and then fake nice the next. If you haven’t seen this movie, check it out. Hilarious!
Sad to say but the only book I read in April was Kardashian Konfidential. I had no time and when I did, I picked this book up. I’m not going to go into too much detail because I already blogged about it, but if you want something fun and juicy to read, pick this up. If you don’t want to shell out the $30 CDN for it then check out your local library they may have a copy, I know mine did.
So those were my media favourites for the month of April! What were some of yours?
So I felt like doing a fun little post today.. that and I couldn’t think of anything else to write about. Well, there were a few things on my mind, but it’s not time to blog about them yet.
I thought I would do a tag post. What is a tag post you ask? Basically it’s questions that other people have answered and then they “tag” you to do it too! I found these questions online and I thought they would be fun to answer. I thought I would start with beauty and then maybe in future posts I could try other tags that have to deal with other topics.

Name a makeup crime that you hate? Too much blush!
Do you like colourful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones? Depends on the mood i’m in. Usually I’ll go with a neutral eye and a bright pink lip.
Which celebrity always has great make up? Kim Kardashian.
If you could leave the house using just ONE makeup item, what would you use? Does Rosebud Salve count?
Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on? Yes, lazy Sundays.
Do you think you look good even without any makeup on? Depends on the day and the lighting.. haha but seriously, everyone is beautiful, makeup just enhances natural beauty.
In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line? MAC, but I have heard a lot of good things about NARS as well.
What do you think of makeup? It’s fun to play around with. You can be very creative with makeup.
So I loved doing a favourites post so much that I thought I would do another one but about other things non-beauty related. Stuff I loved last month (I’m a little late with this one…) other than beauty and fashion. Whether it was music, movies, books, etc.
Okay, number one would definitely be Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale, although this will probably be on April’s list as well because the CD came out on March 29th. All the songs are so good and it is on crazy repeat right now.
Other tunes I really liked were:
- “Pretty Girl Rock” by Keri Hilson
- “Like I Love You” by R.I.O.
- “Mr. Saxobeat” by Alexandra Stan
- “On the Floor” by Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull
- “Desert Rain” by Edward Maya feat. Vika Jigulina
- “Addition” by Medina
I liked a lot of other stuff as well but these were my favourites.
I don’t think I actually saw a lot of movies this month. Let me think here… when did Never Say Never come out? February? Well regardless, that was a good movie, I’m not ashamed to say that I love the Biebs.
I saw this really weird foreign film on Netflix actually, it was called XXY and it’s an Argentinian film that was Spanish with English subs. The movie was about an inter-sexed 15-year-old girl named Alex who is going through this identity crisis after this doctor and his family moves in with their family and she falls for their son. I don’t want to spoil the end of the movie in case anyone actually watches it, but her challenge, as well as her family’s, is whether she will stay a girl (by her keeping on taking her medication), or go off and turn into a boy.
It was kind of a weird movie and definitely not kids or anything but it was interesting enough to watch. Whenever I’m bored and can’t decide what to watch I always look at the foreign films, I enjoy them a lot and you get to see a different culture. I especially like Spanish language films because the subject matter is usually really good. One of my favourite films actually is called Todo Sobre Mi Madre (All About My Mother). It’s a film by Pedro Almodovar (he did Volver and a number of other Spanish-language films), a very well-known Spanish director. I believe that Penelope Cruz is in the majority of his films (including this one). Anyways, this is something for another post, but if you come across this film, definitely check it out.
I didn’t read anything this month! Shame on me! I’m still trying to get through Freedom by Jonathan Franzen, it’s really good but I haven’t had time to read it (the chapters are long!). I did pick up Good Housekeeping’s Drop 5 lbs: The Small Changes, Big Results Diet at the library and that was pretty informative. It had some really great recipes that I unfortunately didn’t have time to try.
Okay, favourites for this month is easy: Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Holly’s World, 18 To Life, and Desperate Housewives, although I think there has been like one new episode maybe this month.
I just want to say real quick how much I love 18 To Life. It’s a show on the CBC which I found on Netflix. It’s about these 18-year-old neighbours that decided to get married much to their parents disapproval. They end up living in his parents attic apartment and it’s about the relationships between the two families. The show is also set in Montreal and I love that city so that may be why I like it so much. But anyways, it’s actually so good. I have been really into CBC programming, in the past I was all about the U.S. networks, but between 18 To Life, Dragon’s Den, and Being Erica the CBC is slowly becoming my new favourite channel… well other than E! Canada, CosmoTV, and MTV.
That’s all folks! Let me know what you have been liking this month, everything from music to movies to television, I want to know!
Until next time..
Excuse the red eyes, I took this when I got home from the appointment..
I just got home from one of my favourite beauty appointments – eyelash extension fills! I have been getting eyelash extensions since June, 2010 and I absolutely love them. I thought a blog post about them would be good for anyone wanting to know a bit of information about them and my experiences with them.
I want to start off by saying that I don’t have a lack of lashes, I have pretty normal lashes and a good amount of them. I have always loved the look that falsies gave me and there is such a significant different between my natural lash and the oomph power of the fake lashes. Also, I was travelling to Mexico and I wanted something that would make my eyes stand out.
So I started to do my research and came across a place in my hometown that specialized in the service and thought a while about it. Why? Because it is pricey. It costs around $200 for the initial application and you get around 30-40 lashes per eye. I decided to go with the “Cat Eye” option, which was not as expensive, and it was basically like 20 lashes per eye concentrated to the ends of the eyelids to give you that cat eye, flirty effect.
So I went to my first appointment and after I thought that they did an okay job. I didn’t find them that noticeable and they were a bit uneven. After a few face washings they did get significantly more noticeable (they started to darken because of your makeup and they clump together but not in a bad way) but I didn’t know if I wanted to keep continuing with them (fills can cost anywhere from $55-65 depending on where you go).
A few weeks after I got them done the first time.
I decided to keep up with the fills because I did get people commenting me on them (“Oh my God, are those your real lashes?!”) and I mean, like everyone else, I loved the compliments. Now I was still getting the cat eye fills but I wanted to try the complete look and get full fills so I got them and then after a while I switched salons (for a number of reasons) and I have been going back to the same place ever since (I go to Wink Studio in Winnipeg if any of you are interested, they do a great job).
There are a number of pros and cons with the lashes as I list below:
- No mascara needed
- Waterproof- perfect the pool, beach, or the gym
- Good for people with sensitive eyes
- Cuts “getting ready” time in the morning significantly shorter
- Easy to maintain
- Make your eyes prettier
- Low maintenance
- You can’t use oil-based makeup removers (the kind I love)
- Once the lashes start to fall out you kind of go through an “awkward” phase, if that makes sense.. basically it’s like when your roots grow out
- You have to go for fills every month to month and a half
So there are a number of things that are great about them and a few things that aren’t so great. I know the number one thing is definitely the price. It can get very pricey to maintain and it is quite an initial investment to get them in the first place.
If you want more information on them, I recently wrote an article for Clippings magazine which explains the process more in detail, as well as other ways to get bold, luscious lashes. You can view the article here and here.
Anyways, I hope this blog post helps if you are deciding to take the plunge and invest in some longer lashes. They are relatively easy to maintain and I really do love having them. Do I regret getting them? No. Will I keep getting fills for them forever. Who knows? I do miss mascara some days, but you know it’s awesome with summer coming up and everything and I can go to the beach with them and still have that same look because they are great in the water. It’s like having long, natural lashes.. the fake way.
So I have decided that I’m going to do a favourites post at the end of every month, whether it’s beauty, fashion, or just random stuff. Fittingly it’s the end of March so here are my faves for the month!
ELF “C” Eyeshadow Brush
I absolutely love this brush! I got it last month when I was in Vegas and we stopped at a local Target. The brush retails for only like $3 and if you don’t have a retailer near you that sells ELF (like me) you can pick it up online.
The brush is made up of synthetic bristles, I myself tend to go towards animal hair (shame on me, I know) for my brushes but I’m very impressed by the quality in this little brush. You can use it for lids, creases, blending, etc. It’s one of those brushes that you can really get a lot of bang for your buck. I highly recommend it.
Hello Kitty Perfume To Go Solid Perfume Necklace
If you know me, you will know that I absolutely love Hello Kitty. So naturally when Sephora came out with a Hello Kitty collection I was excited. Not gonna lie though, when I first saw it in person I was kind of let down. The stuff looked kind of cheap and in true Sephora style it was overpriced. Especially in Canada. This little necklace retails for $64 in Canada and $39 in the States. That’s almost a $30 difference and the Canadian dollar is pretty much at par. And no, you can’t just order it online and get that price, it switches to the Canadian pricing.
Anyways, when I was in Vegas I mad hunted this down and found it and lucky for me it was the last one. The scent is really pretty and fresh and young, perfect for teens or little girls just started to experiment with fragrance and makeup. The only thing I don’t like so much about this is the chain. I know I’m not the only one who thinks this too, just Google it and you will find out. The chain is long (hits mid-boob) but there is no clasp or anything so you can’t adjust it, which is annoying because in the product ad it’s a lot shorter. And to top it off, the charm is attached weird to the chain so it tends to flip over so you can’t see Kitty’s pretty face.
If you can get over those flaws (or you could just get a new chain, I’m too lazy to) I would pick this baby up. However, if you are Canadian I would suggest going to a U.S. Sephora (if there is one near you) and picking it up there, the Canadian price hike is ridiculous.
Neutral Nail Polish
I have really been loving neutrals lately. From nude pumps to cream coloured blouses, I’m all over it. So naturally this trend has stretched to my nails as well. I only have the two shades right now, but I absolutely love them. The one on the right is “You Don’t Know Jacques” from OPI’s Fall 2008 collection, La collection de France. I believe it is one of OPI’s most popular colours and I can totally see why. I was rocking this colour all week (I literally just took it off like half an hour ago because it started to chip) even though it is practically spring. You can definitely wear this colour all year but I think it would be most perfect for fall.
The one on the left is “San Tantonio” from OPI’s current Texas collection. It’s more of a brown colour but not as dark as You Don’t Know Jacques. I also think it’s more wearable for spring. But I mean I think that both colours are universal for all seasons because they are neutrals. Funny story about this though, I was torn between San Tantonio and Over the Taupe and I actually chose Over the Taupe but when I got home and put it on it was the wrong colour! Whoops! That’s okay though, I like this one too, maybe in the future I’ll pick up Over the Taupe as well.
H&M Leopard Print Shoes
Another Vegas purchase! I knew that I really wanted to pick up a pair of leopard print shoes ( I’m going through a huge leopard phase right now) and originally I was going to go for these super hot Steve Madden ones, but I think that these are more wearable and not to mention cheaper! They were $34.99 I believe, somewhere in that price range.
I love wearing these with black jeggings and a neutral coloured top. I don’t think I would do leopard with leopard because that may be too much animal print going on. Maybe a scarf actually, so it wouldn’t be too in your face.
Not sure if H&M still has these, but if they do I would pick them up. Super easy to walk in and comfy. Not to mention affordable and you can definitely take these from day to night.
ELF Undereye Concealer and Highlighter
So another Vegas purchase (this is like a Vegas haul, geez) which I absolutely love. One end is a concealer and the other is a highlighter.
I’m really loving ELF, these are my first products from them and I am totally loving the line. I wish the shipping to Canada didn’t take so long otherwise I would order more stuff (it’s so affordable!). I can’t remember what I paid for this but I know it wasn’t that much.
The concealer part really brightens my eyes and other areas that need concealing and the highlighter is just fab. I use it on my cheek bone above my blush, as well as on my brow bone. It really does create that extra oomph to make your complexion glow. I think I have used it practically everyday since I got it.
Hard Candy Sheer Envy Face Primer
I have recently gotten into face primers. I actually never knew about them until I got a mini one with a Bare Minerals foundation kit and now it is part of my regular makeup routine. Foundation just goes on way more smoothy with it underneath.
When I ran out of the Bare Minerals one I got a mini Nars one from Sephora as part of a sampler event for Beauty Insiders. Of course that lasted me like a few days so I knew I had to pick a new one up. Okay, let me just say, who knew how expensive these are?! Seriously, the cheapest one at Sephora is like $18, so naturally, I was like “okay, Wal-Mart time!”. I knew that Hard Candy does a line at Wal-Mart and thought that maybe they would have an affordable primer to try (I mean as much as I love primers and everything, it’s a part of your makeup that you don’t see). I found this one for like $8 and I really like it. It’s a bit greasy when you first put it on and I find I have to shake the bottle before I dispense it (it can get a bit runny) but it does its job and it’s affordable. Big plus!
Okay, this post is like super long now, I feel bad because I’m ignoring Ziggy. So I’m going to sign off, hope you enjoyed reading about my favourites for March and let me know what you were loving this month.
Until next time!
